Care and maintenance directory

Recommendations:
• Always read handling and care symbols. Never launder at higher temperature than indicated.
  
  
• Do not mix colours.
  
  
• Pre-launder new items at low temperature, for proper colour and dimension fixation.
  
  
• Dry at low temperature.
  
  
• Do not staple wed items.
  
  
• Respect indicated doses of washing product (chemicals) in order to avoid reduced life span of items.
  
  
• Do not overload the tumbler. Also insufficient loading will give disappointing results.
  
  
• Remove /absorb spots immediately with an absorbing napkin, through dipping only. Do not let spots dry and do not iron items with spots.
  
  
• Use chemicals properly adapted to the colours, not containing bleaching agents.
  

Handling of stains:

• Fruit, coffee, tea or chocolate : dip with alcohol or ammonia and rinse in clear water.
  
  
• Fats : slightly dip with stain remover or ammonia and rinse in clear water.
  
  
• Wine : rinse with hot water an immediately launder. Do not add salt to the stain as salt affects the fibers. Eventually, use some white wine.

Washing instructions for 100 % cotton catering table linen

		Boiling programme Washing programme for white, boil wash proof dyed or printed cotton or linen articles. Fill drum. Set corresponding washing programme with/without pre-wash programme. Pre-treat stubborn stains or select special pre-wash programme if necessary.
		Chlorine bleaching possible Bleach in cold, highly diluted bleach solution or chlorine bleaching agent. Observe instructions for bleaching agent. Anti-chlorine treatment with fixing salt recommended to prevent yellowing. Then wash the article according to the instructions on the label.
		Iron at high temperature Applicable to cotton or linen articles that are often still slightly damp. Iron articles susceptible to ‘shining’ or pressure with protective cloth or iron on the inside. Suitable for steam application.
		Cleaning process with strict limits regarding moisture application and/or mechanical requirements and/or temperatures Acceptable solvents: perchloroethylene or mineral petroleum. Cleaning process for delicates. No weight based cleaning, do not clean in automatic coin operated machines. Cleaning with solvents possible subject to certain conditions. We recommend an initial test in a concealed area.
		Normal drying process Dry with standard load, not subject to conditions.
